The "Villa Rosa" flat is a cosy maisonette under the roof of the old palazzo. The palazzo was originally used as a nunnery, as evidenced by the bell tower still visible on the gable. Today, the entrance area and staircase are clad in marble stone. The palazzo has a lift that transports guests of Villa Rosa comfortably to the second floor of the building. Upon entering the "Villa Rosa" flat, the light-flooded impression is impressive. Bright and tastefully furnished interiors with large windows facing the lake welcome guests. A spacious living room, a separate kitchen made of high-quality stainless steel and a guest WC characterise the first floor of the flat. A spacious staircase leads to the upper part of the flat, where there is a daylight bathroom, a bedroom with a large double bed, a storage room with washing machine and a gallery as a spacious and open-plan living and sleeping area. A cooker, fridge, oven, microwave, television, internet access, heating and skylight complete the "Villa Rosa" flat. Traditional and stylish shutters provide shade for the flat in summer. Guests have the option of using the palazzo's underground car park. The green area belonging to the palazzo can also be used by guests for sunbathing, for example.
The attractive "Villa Rosa" flat is located in the palazzo of the same name in the municipality of Villa di Gargnano on the western shore of Lake Garda. Situated in the immediate vicinity of the picturesque and romantic harbour of Villa di Gargnano, it offers a fantastic view of the lake and the Venetian shore opposite.
The "Osteria Valentino", which is very popular with residents and guests alike, is located in the immediate vicinity and sets up its tables right by the harbour basin in summer. From the front door of "Villa Rosa" it is only a few steps to one of the numerous small and hidden bathing spots on Lake Garda. The harbours of the neighbouring municipality of Gargnano and the district of Bogliaco di Gargnano are just a 10-minute walk away. There you can enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of dreamy beach promenades with orange trees, great gastronomy and a passion for sailing.
Hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers will enjoy the opportunities offered by the dramatically rising hinterland. There you can explore the nearby Lago di Valvestiono reservoir or the somewhat more distant Lago di Iseo. Golf enthusiasts will love the nearby Bogliaco golf course, the third oldest in Italy, with its lake view. At the harbour in Gargnano, you can regularly take advantage of the Lake Garda ferry service and discover the Venetian side of the lake without the hassle of traffic. The nearest larger towns such as Limone sul Grada (to the north) and Saló (to the south) are both around 15 minutes by car from Villa di Gargnano. During the season between September and May, opera lovers can take the fast train from the provincial capital of Brescia to the famous Milano Centrale railway station within 30 minutes and enjoy a visit to the world-famous La Scala opera house.
Numerous bathing spots along the western shore invite you to swim in Lake Garda. The harbour in the historic centre of Gargnano offers the opportunity to hire boats. From there, it is also possible to explore Lake Garda and its shores by ferry. Within half an hour you can reach the popular town of Malcesine on the eastern shore with its historic castle complex. A cable car also takes you from Malcesine to the summit of Monte Baldo, which is over 1,700 metres high and enjoys great popularity as a ski resort in winter.
Surfers and sailors particularly like the prevailing wind and weather conditions in the northern, almost fjord-like part of Lake Garda - especially in Riva del Garda. The southern part of Lake Garda, on the other hand, is characterised by the Mediterranean climate. The largest town on Lake Garda - Desenzano - is located on the southern shore and attracts numerous visitors due to its location and wide range of shopping opportunities. Not far away is the "Gardaland" amusement park, which is very popular with families and children and offers attractions such as rollercoasters, a Legoland and a SeaLife aquarium. Verona, to the east of the lake, is particularly popular with visitors for its ancient arena and historic city centre. A day trip to Venice from Villa di Gargnano is also recommended - but not necessarily in the busy summer months. If you would like to soak up the charm of the cultural and fashion metropolis of Milan, you can reach it from the railway station in the provincial capital of Brescia by express train within 30 minutes.
